Faculty - If you are giving Online Assessments
Students using Internet Explorer 8 may need to install a fix before taking an online assessment. Unless your students just received a new Bentley laptop this year, please direct them to install this fix before completing an assessment in Blackboard.

As you may have noticed with a number of applications, including Blackboard, Firefox 3 has some stability and other issues. At this time, Blackboard is not officially supporting Firefox 3.
Here are some of the known issues
In Firefox 3 for Windows Vista/XP, users will receive an error "Please enter a valid file" when trying to submit a file for the Assignment Feature. For now, we do not recommend upgrading to version 3 to use with blackboard. Firefox 2 or IE will work with the assignment feature file submission. If you need to reinstall Firefox 2, follow these instructions.
